For those who want to be part of the journey towards our system innovation book, we will outline our expected travel plan. Be aware that this plan may change as we travel along our journey toward the finished book and know that we will keep you informed via our Substack newsletter on new content and upcoming events.
Embark: as lead authors and within the Endeva team of facilitators, we have put together our core practices, along with case stories and key insights, in a Draft Zero.
Enlist: We will now (from July 2025) share this content in this blog in smaller snippets, asking you for your feedback, insights and contributions. You can share these via the comments function on Substack, via email at systeminnovation@substack.com or on LinkedIn under #SystemInnovationBook. The best way to keep in touch with the process is to subscribe to our Substack newsletter, and we would also love for you to let us know who you are and what you are interested in via email after you subscribe. Explore: Some themes in the book call for deeper exploration. In particular, we would love to learn with you about how to create the conditions for system innovation work within organizations. How do you get the mandate to do system innovation? How do you set up a team to dive into the process? How do you deal with concerns and bumps in the road? We will engage in dialogue with you through interviews and events starting in September 2025.
Experiment: We would like to apply our tools to map out how to create awareness for system innovation. We will host two online consultations using our ii2030 methodology, our catalytic process for driving systems change and creating a more inclusive and future-fit society. These consultations - likely in the fall of 2025 - will enable us to map out the present system and identify leverage points that we can engage in for change.
Expand: By the end of the year, we want to be ready to publish the book in print. In a crowdfunding campaign, we will give you the chance to preorder the book and support our awareness raising efforts towards a broader audience.o
The journey will surely continue after that! Hopefully the book will be a useful asset to enable, encourage and empower more people to change systems purposefully. We hope to have you with us along each step of the way!
